We invite visitors to experience the taste of Japanese powdered green tea (matcha) and the beauty of the Japanese tea ceremony with experts from the Urasenke school, which is known for its distinctive sense of style and presentation. These gatherings take place around our exhibition’s meticulous replica of the historic Sa-an teahouse, originally designed by 16th-century tea master Sen no Rikyu. Each session includes a live demonstration, and tastings of tea and sweets – a perfect way to begin 2025 with mindfulness and cultural enrichment.
